Name: Kieren Leek with LEEKY
Car: VY SS Wagon
Engine: 6litre L98 built by Lloyd’s Garage
“My name is kieren Leek and I drive the burnout car LEEKY. I have been going to burnout events for about 3 years now, I started with building a black vx super 6 manual in my mates shed for PCM (Performance Car Mania) at Winton. It was a 3 week build myself and my partner and 3 really good friends helped with the build. I wanted more power after the first event so got myself a black vx Ss and started my burnout addiction with that car. After playing with the vx on the pad and having a lot of fun, I wanted to build a respectful car to bring to the game and not just play anymore I wanted to be apart of the sport.”
“The car (in the picture) is a vy Ss wagon with a front to back rebuild. The wagon is running a 6ltr l98 built by the boys at Lloyd’s Garage with all the good party parts to make this car do what it does out on the burnout pad. Running a holly tunnel ram induction with e85 fuel.
T400 auto gearbox with 4800k stall. Paint is a open door gloss black with a red purl with a shaved engine bay.
Rear end is IRS still with vq arms and a 3.45 full spool diff. All interior is custom made by matt at seamless motor trimming.”
“So I got myself the wagon and it started out silver and bog stock and now it is where it is after just over a year and a half. It wouldn’t be where it is today if it was not for a lot of my very close friends and family and my partner.”
“The burnout events for me are all about getting with so many of my friends and smashing tyres. The feeling of having the car skidding is something I can’t describe yet. I feel so full of joy and pride when I can drive the car off the trailer, and skid it. One car I would love to get behind the wheel of would hands down have to be KILLA B.”
Special Thanks to my partner Hayley and best mate Alec for helping me along the way.
