We asked Matt why he chose a 6cylinder and does he have any future plans to upgrade from the 6cyl.                     "I kept with the Holden 6 because its different, I had so many people question it at first but changed their minds pretty quick when they saw how good it goes. Unfortunately at Brashernats i blew it up doing the demo skid at the end, it was 100% my fault because i knew it was a little hurt but still sent it anyway. The engine was built early 2008 so was almost 11 years old, i abused it at every opportunity i could over that time so i am so happy with how it served me, and was over the moon the 'little engine that could' put me on the top step a few times. I am going to rebuild bigger and better hoping to step up the little 6 a bit without getting too carried away".

We then asked Matt if he had any other projects in the build?

“Yeah i have a few other projects with another LJ, and LX ss hatch and the misso's HG wagon that i hope to bowl over in the next 12 months”.

What would you like to see in the future of the burnout scene?

“For the future of the scene, i’d  love to just keep being able to travel and enter comps with no Bullsh*t. It seems the core group are like family and i love it. I have met some amazing people through burnouts but definately hate drama so i’d love to see a more united group overall. More backing would also be amazing because as we all know motorsport isn’t cheap. Most of all i just want to see good people having fun and getting sets off!”
